Queen Bee by Lipstick Queen

Searching for a perfect lipstick it could be difficult, these days I am not in the mood to use a very very bright colour in my lips, I prefer something more soft but that will keep my lips moisturized for the winter. After taking a look at different brands and colours, my choose was the brand Lipstick Queen; they always have something perfect for my needs even when I am not searching!

I will explain how this is the perfect lipstick for everyone, the Queen Bee is not only a moisturizer, it has royal jelly, chamomile and sunflower extract to help soothe the sore lips, but with a gold finish!

The perfect lipstick that you don't have to check what are you wearing or need a mirror to use, you just put it on your lips and you will be perfect!

Life or Death by Michael Robotham

Life or Death by Michael Robotham
Genre: Thriller, Crime
Source: NetGalley
Rating: 4/5

Audie Palmer has escaped from prison one day before his release. Why?
He has been held in prison for 10 years; suffering beatings, poisonings and various attempted murders... Why escape just one day before the official release?
Everyone is searching for Audie; FBI, police and some unwanted guys...
Will Audie audacity be enough to survive till the next morning or will he fail?
Start reading and you will know why!

"'They said I robbed and armoured truck,'
'Did you?'
'Hardly seems to matter any more.'
She sneaks a glance at him. 'Either you did or you didn't.'
'Sometimes you get blamed for things you didn't do. Other times you get away with things you did. Maybe we finish up even at the end.'
Rosie changes lanes, looking for the exit. 'I don't have a lot of moral authority since I don't go to church any more, but if you've done something wrong you shouldn't run away from it.'
'I'm not running away,' says Audie."

This book is a travel through Audie's Palmer life, although his life has not been easy, he always tried to be a good person and do the correct thing, always.
His escape has a motive, of course, a long time ago he made a promise, and he tries to keep it after all these years... it would not be easy, but he will risk his life for it.
In the beginning of the book, you don't know what is happening, but you just keep reading to understand the true motives that keep Audie fighting. Which could it be the real story behind his imprisonment?
This is a book that after you finished you need to talk about your thoughts, how can Audie have such bad luck? Has he broken a mirror everyday in his childhood? Is not possible that all the bad things keep happening to Audie, he has to have a good moment, hasn't he?
I like how Michael Robotham creates a character with so many problems but so reliable, and with little bits conceive a powerful but heartbreaking story. Sometimes thanks to the dark humour you don't break into tears after all the incidents Audie is involved, but I can assure you, you will not be disappointed after reading this book, it has you in the edge till the end. What more do you need in a book?
How long will you keep a promise?

Wholegrain Mustard With Irish Stout by Lakeshore

What do you prefer ketchup or mustard?
Normally I use both with my french fries, but to use with meat, I prefer grain mustard, is not so strong as the normal mustard and is a little bit sore.

Today I have tried the Lakeshore brand from Ireland, they have a lot of different mustards to try, but I decided to try the one with Irish Stout, of course! :)

I have tried this mustard with a steak, I liked it very much, but I didn't taste the stout very much... I thought the flavour would be more strong!

Which is your favourite mustard? Or do you really hate it?

Evil Games by Angela Marsons

Evil Games by Angela Marsons
Genre: Crime, Mystery
Source: NetGalley
Rating: 5/5

Do you remember D.I. Kim Stone? The brave detective with a little antisocial behaviour?
This will be Kim's most personal case, there's an evil mind using people to commit murder, when she starts investigating, she will become the next target. Will she be strong enough to start getting over her past or will she be the next victim of this evil game?

"'I see you've been cooking again.'
'Did you try one?'
He guffawed. 'Nah, it's okay. I wanna live, and I don't eat anything I can't put a name to. They look like Afghan landmines.'
'They're biscuits.'
He shook his head. 'Why do you put yourself through it?'
'Because I am crap at it.'"

Kim is one of my favourites detectives, she is direct, good on her word and a little odd. But who is not?
In this case we will learn more about Kim's past, and how she, without really being aware, will start healing from her past... and become more social? No... I think not!
Knowing Kim's past will make us, the readers, understand her passion to solve cases. And after meeting her mother, I am waiting to have a face to face encounter between the two of them... This maybe will help Kim being in peace with her past.
I don't really like doctors, but after reading this book, I am not sure I will ever trust anyone ever!
But this is not why I love this book, you know who is behind the manipulations since the beginning... but you can not do anything to help, just pray that Kim will discover the truth before is too late.
Since you start reading this book, you can't put it down, you just want to know who will win this obscure game, knowing that the winner will won a big prize, freedom.
Angela Marson has done it again, a mystery case that will keep you fascinated and horrified of how you can be manipulated and scared of your own behaviour.
