This is a tricky word, because yes Bikini has the same meaning in a way as everyone knows; a two-piece bathing suit for women or a one-piece bathing suit for men. But in Catalan it means something else too, a dish... Any try?
It's a hot sandwich made with ham and cheese! Weird isn't it? It is funny, because you discover that no one knows what is a bikini when you travel around Europe and you ask for a bikini and people start looking weird at you! So, if you ever travel to Catalonia, remember, a bikini it is something delicious and cheap! ;)
